Personal Life:
Tuba Anwar was born on 15th November 1994 in Karachi. She is youngest of the four sisters. In an interview, she mentioned how she enjoys the privilege of being the youngest in the family. Her mother pampers her the most. Also, she is away from domestic responsibilities such as cooking. Tuba started working at an early age also serves as a reason why she does not cook.
Tuba Anwar came into the limelight due to her marriage to the (late) religious host Amir Liaquat. She became his second wife when they tied the knot in 2018 in a private marriage ceremony. It was Tuba’s first marriage. The couple seemed to be head over heels for each other initially. They would often express their love for each other on social media. Unfortunately, their love was short-lived. They got divorced too soon due to irreconcilable differences.
Being a second wife is not easy in our society. Tuba Anwar faced a lot of criticism from people for various reasons. However, she preferred to remain silent on all the allegations. Recently, she revealed in various interviews and podcasts as to how she dealt with such turbulent issues at such an early age in her life. She recalls her marriage as an unpleasant experience. Career:
Tuba’s first appearance on TV was alongside (late) Amir Liaquat as they hosted Ramzan transmission together. Seeing her confidence and camera-friendliness, Amir Liaquat was very supportive of her work and encouraged her to pursue an acting career. She started by modeling for a couple of clothing brands. She got her first break for acting in 2020 in the drama serial Bharas. People applauded her performance and she became a star overnight. The cast of this serial was new and fresh promoting the stars of tomorrow. She worked alongside Dur-e-Fishan Saleem, Zubab Rana, Omer Shahzad, and Furqan Qureshi in the drama. Next, she appeared in a negative role in the drama serial Bichhoo. She played the role of an arrogant and jealous girl, Afreen who meets an unfortunate fate in the end. Audiences praised Tuba’s acting in the drama as she aptly essayed a negative character.
Tuba also appeared in Baby Baji as the youngest daughter-in-law. She played the outspoken, modern, and vocal girl who refuses to stay in the shadow of the eldest daughter-in-law. Working with the same cast and crew, Tuba is currently appearing in the drama serial Mohabbat Satrangi on Green TV. In a short period, Tuba has worked in different roles showing her acting prowess.
